Rose House is on Lê Thị Riêng street in District 1, a street of cafés, bars and restaurants at street level. Boiling Fresh and Sushi Miya are both 50 m away, Hybrid Saigon, a café-bar, is 50 m away too, and the Hakka Thien Hau Temple, a temple dedicated to the sea goddess Thien Hau, is 350 m away. Saigon Railway Station, the main rail terminal, is 1.9 km away, and the Bến xe Sài Gòn bus station is 350 m from the homestay, close enough to walk. Ben Thanh Market, 850 m away, is the place for street food, souvenirs and clothing, and it stays busy into the evening, when its night stalls open. Independence Palace, 900 m from the homestay, is the former presidential palace, with rooms kept much as they were in the 1960s and an underground bunker that visitors can tour. The War Remnants Museum is 1000 m away, with exhibits on the Vietnam War, and Tao Dan Park, 450 m away, is a green space popular with locals in the early morning.
